Shaping New Influencers

Converge International Ministries
Like it or not, we develop some of the most impactful habits in our youth. The wisest man on earth understood this truth when he said, “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it” (Prov. 22:6). The emerging generations whose worldviews are currently forming have a high sense of justice and value integrity. They see the injustices in the world but often don’t understand how to live out a strategic and impactful response. Our young people today want to engage in activities that make a difference, something bigger than themselves. The injustice of gospel sacristy among the least reached is the greatest injustice there is in the world today.
The Converge International Ministries [IM]PACT Global Missions Service Internship is designed to help shape young people’s worldview to be missional in their responses to the injustice they see around them.
As Converge International Ministries aims to deploy 350 new global workers by the end of 2026, we need numerous avenues to nurture the passion for God’s mission worldwide. Our Converge Heartland churches can engage with us to identify and send your young people to the nations to build God’s kingdom and for his glory.
The 6-10 week internship allows an intern to encounter the challenge and adventure of global ministry personally. [IM]PACT is more than a resumé filler. As a part of the internship, we will provide pre-field training, on-the-field mentorship, unique cultural experiences, and a debrief upon the intern’s return to the United States to make sure they adapt well back to their home culture. One side note: although our primary audiences are Millennials and GenZ, we will welcome those over 18 years old with a heart for the nations.
If you are interested in rising to the challenge of being a person of influence in the life of an intern, please become an ambassador for this program. Also, if you know someone interested in missions, please have them check out our web page or apply for Summer 2026. We are now accepting applications!
