Every fall, churches from across Wisconsin and Michigan's Upper Peninsula come together — not just to hear updates, but to help shape where Converge Great Lakes goes next. As a nonprofit fellowship of churches, our Annual Meeting is where we do the business of being better together: we'll look back on what God has done across our region this past year, introduce you to your Board of Overseers, vote on new board members, and share which churches have affiliated with Converge Great Lakes this year — along with any that have disaffiliated. Most of all, this is your meeting. We want to hear your questions, your hopes, and your voice as we plan the year ahead. You're not just invited — you're needed.

Delegates & Guests FAQ
How many delegates can our church send to the Annual Meeting?
Per our Constitution (Article VI, Section 4), churches with 50 or fewer members may register 3 delegates. Add 1 additional delegate for every additional 50 members, or any fraction of 50. (Example: a 120-member church may register 5 delegates.)
What’s the difference between a Delegate and a Guest?
Delegates are your church’s credentialed, voting representatives. Guests may attend, listen, and join the discussion when invited by the moderator, but bylaws (Article IX, Section 2) don’t give them voting authority. There’s no cap on the number of guests.
Can guests speak or ask questions?
Yes — guests may take part in discussion at the moderator’s invitation; they just don’t vote on motions.
How does voting work at a virtual meeting?
Our By-Laws allow electronic voting at the Board of Overseers’ discretion (Article IX), which is how we’re conducting the vote this year. Only pre-registered, credentialed delegates will receive voting access during the meeting.
Who decides which members from our church serve as delegates?
That’s up to your own church’s leadership — the Constitution doesn’t prescribe how a church selects its delegates, only how many it may send.
