Leadership Summits

“2015/16 Leadership Summit: Breaking Barriers. “ Every church leader faces barriers in taking their church to the next level. These barriers may include attendance, finances, people resources, leadership skills, facilities, attitudes, etc. We will explore principles which will help answer the question: How do we take our church to the next level? This year’s Leadership Summit may radically transform your thinking about church leadership.”These three hour summits will be held in all eleven LEAD team regions and are designed for Lead Pastors, Staff Pastors and Church Leadership Boards. There is no cost. Please contact Dr. Steve Patrick at 608 244-5000 or email for more information.

Specialized Training

We offer yearly training events during our Annual Meeting festivities. Topics addressed effective coaching, improving financial processes and procedures, advancing ministry through outreach, and so much more. Training and networking events always begin the Thursday before the start of our Annual Meeting. We also hold workshops during our Annual Meeting as well. Be sure to check out our events page for information and registration.

LEAD Teams

A LEAD Team is a gathering of relationally and missionally committed leaders from a geographical region or affinity group. Teams meet together regularly to build meaningful relationships, focus on spiritual growth, and work together to see mission accomplished through multiplying (planting) new churches, and nurturing church health.

While church planting is a strong emphasis of each LEAD Team, church health is equally important. Participating pastors/leaders challenge each other, learn together, and resource one another in a caring environment to stimulate the mobilization, health, and impact of each church involved in the team.

We Partner with Converge for Transform (a networking gathering for church leaders).

These gatherings are designed to facilitate peer-to-peer sharing and learning in dealing with issues and challenges common among ministry peers. The agenda is set by pastors and spouses attending. Prior participants have cited that ideas gained and relationships formed have transformed their ministries.

Typical annual events include support for:

  • Large Church Pastors & Spouses
  • Children’s Pastors and Directors
  • Pastors of African Descent & Spouses
  • Urban Church Pastors & Spouses
  • Local Church Administrative Assistants
  • Multi-site & Multiplication Center Network Gathering
  • Solo Pastors & Spouses
  • Breaking the 200/400 Barrier Pastors & Spouses

For more information on Converge events, contact Donna Landy-Smith.

Contact Bruce Hopler, Director of Transform for a schedule of upcoming gatherings.
