Pastor Ken Nabi


Pastor Ken Nabi, became Regional President of Converge Great Lakes in 2016. Before this he had served the district in a number of influential and strategic roles, including Chairman of the Board of Overseers for Converge Great Lakes. Reverend Nabi came to CGL from Community Church, Fond du Lac where he held various roles beginning as Adult Ministries Pastor in 1995 and concluding with fourteen years as the Senior Pastor. Prior to coming to Community Church, he served as a professional counselor for five years. Reverend Nabi is known as one of the most strategic leaders in all of Converge. He has written several articles, along with speaking not only here in the United States but overseas as well. His research on restoration of fallen pastors is cutting edge both in terms of the pastoral couple and the church that has experienced such a tragic event. He and his wife Karen have been married for thirty years and have four boys.


Glenn Herschberger

Glenn Herschberger, Executive Director of Church Planting, has been married to his wife, Susan, for 35 years. They have three adult children and 5 grandchildren. Glenn retired from Law Enforcement full after twenty-four years. He and Susan attended Fond Du Lac Community Church from 1984 until 1986. They were asked to help plant Oshkosh Community Church as one of the core families in 1986. In 1999, Pastor Glenn planted Real Hope Community Church in Lake Mills, Wisconsin. Glenn led several short-term mission trips to Ecuador, planting and strengthening local churches throughout this Latin-American country. Glenn and Susan served as Converge Missionaries, church planting in Panama City, Panama. They planted an English-speaking church called LifeBridge International Church in 2011. Glenn received his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin. He is a graduate of the Center for Excellence in Congregational Leadership and received his Master’s degree in Biblical Counseling from Luther Rice Seminary.

Gary Harrison

Gary Harrison, Executive Director of Church Strengthening, is a graduate of the Moody Bible Institute and Trinity University. He has served as a pastor for over twenty years, a denominational executive for six (Director of Pastoral and Church Resources for the Great Lakes Baptist Conference), and an interim pastor. He founded and serves as President of Pinnacle Ministries, a mission committed to “Healthy Pastors, Healthy Leaders, Leading Healthy and Effective Churches.” Gary is a certified NCD coach consultant, has taken specialized training in leadership development and in conflict mediation, and is a co-author of “The Retool Pathway”, a church renewal process, a process that has been used in the U.S., the Philippines and Japan. He is married to Marie, who is a partner in his work at Pinnacle. Gary and Marie live in central Wisconsin, have been married for over forty-two years, and have two wonderful cats (Agatha Kitty and Mooch).  When not “on duty”, find them out camping in their travel trailer.

Richard Brown


Richard Brown, Urban/Ethnic Ministries Coordinator, has a passion for people in urban communities. He is currently heading up the Captive Project Park Outreach as well as the Heart of the City Project. These projects are designed to reach and edify the lost and bring hope to most-needed area of the communities. Minister Brown and his wife Aurelia were married in 1991 and have four children. In his free time he enjoys science fiction and watching football, his favorite team is the Packers and any team that is playing against Chicago! 


Duane Jass

Duane Jass, CGL’s Area Minister in the Central district, has worked in a part-time capacity since 2006. He has served as the Lead Pastor of a growing church he planted over thirty years ago. He has a passion for helping in the area of conflict resolution and has been used in this area for over sixteen years in CGL district churches. Duane and his wife Nancy were married in 1956 and have spent over thirty-six years together as ministry partners! In Pastor Jass’ leisure time, he loves to golf and read.

Carol Foral

Carol Foral currently serves as CGL’s Missionary for the Deaf Culture. Carol has ministered to the Deaf as an interpreter and a Sunday School teacher for over thirty-six years.  With the advancements of technology, she is now able to reach Deaf Cultures with the Gospel message worldwide and in their own sign-language. 

Carol enjoys doing crafts and creating flower gardens with her husband Gary. Their favorite past-time is leisurely riding his Harley-Davidson and enjoying God’s beautiful creation.

Sarah Motiff

Sarah Motiff is CGL’s Accountant. She will make sure that your payroll gets processed correctly and in a timely manner. She is also a great resource to the district as she has significant experience with accounting, payroll and nonprofits.
